#MoussercontreEbola (Lather Against Ebola) It’s the Ivorian twist on the ‘Ice Bucket’ challenge to motivate the African population to adopt better hygienic practices to combat the spread of Ebola.

This challenge started on August 18, 2014 and since, several of the people challenged have posted their soapy dousing on YouTube, Facebook… and other social media outlets. In Ivory Coast, the “Lather Against Ebola” is another prong of the campaign to educate people on how to avoid getting the deadly disease. There have been some pretty catchy songs and sketch comedy shows to highlight this outbreak.
According to the World Health Organization, Ebola has infected more than 2,600 and killed more than 1,400 in four countries across the West African region. Ebola is spread through contact with the bodily fluids of infected people and can be partly contained by simple measures like regular hand-washing. So lets all ‘Lather Against Ebola’
